Nonnette Remember Johnson, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Dec. 19, at the \”Our House\” Assisted Living Residence in River Falls, Wis. Born Aug. 6, 1924, to Edwin and Alvina Danielson in Beldenville, Wis. She attended the Freier Grade School and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1942. Nonnette married Harlan O. Johnson on Feb.28, 1946. Together they raised their family on the Johnson Family Farm in Hartland Township. Nonnette (Fisty) was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed visiting with her family, scrabble with her sister Enid, and babysitting with grandchildren. Those who knew Nonnette will remember her as the most unselfish person in the world.Nonnette was preceded in death by Harlan, her husband of 50 years; her parents Edwin and Alvina Danielson; daughter Jean; two sisters Yvonne Taylor, Seattle, Wash., and Elaine Empey, Excelsior, Minn.; and a great-grandson. Nonnette is survived by her sister, Enid Davidson, River Falls, children Gail (Roxine) Johnson, Ellsworth, David (Shelly) Johnson, Ellsworth, Lindell (Sue) Johnson, River Falls, Ruth (Fred) Wilkens, Ellsworth, Connie (Neal) Halverson, Ellsworth; 19 grand-children, 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children; and many nieces and nephews.Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ellsworth, WI is serving the family.
