Pauline Jenny Nelson, age 97 of Baldwin, WI, died on July 5, 2010 at the Baldwin Care Center. Pauline was born on June 21, 1913 in Kinnickinnic Township to the parents of Christian and Lena (DeMaster) Anderson. Pauline was baptized and confirmed at Woodside Lutheran Church and attended school in Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin High School. Pauline was united in marriage to Clifford H. Nelson at the parsonage of Bethel Lutheran Church in Hudson on November 25, 1931. Their union in marriage would be blessed with three children; Gordon, Victor and Audrey. They farmed south of Baldwin from 1934 to 1970. She founded the Pleasant Grove Homemakers Club of St. Croix County. Pauline and Clifford enjoyed nearly 39 years together working side by side. After Clifford’s death in September 1970, Pauline moved to Baldwin and was employed by McDougall Jewelry Store. She enjoyed gardening; especially her roses and a big strawberry patch which she shared with many. Also she found enjoyment doing needle work, cooking and baking. Pauline will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, great-great- grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Pauline is survived by her sons, Gordon Nelson of Brooklyn Park, MN; Victor (JoAnne) Nelson of Danbury, WI; daughter. Audrey (Louis) Van Someren of Baldwin, WI; nine grandchildren, Douglas (Kelley) Nelson, Brent (Sherry) Nelson, Cheryl (Michael) Schlicht, Linda (John) Harrison, Stewart (Anna) Nelson, Brenda (Kraig) McConaughey, Julie Nelson, Lisa Anderson and Brian Van Someren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friend. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; great-grandson, Nicholas Nelson; daughter-in-law, Emily Nelson; siblings, Lenore Stein, Naomi Nickleby, Clarence Anderson, Bernice Anderson, Ray Anderson, Grace Coone and Josephine Anderson.

Funeral Service for Pauline Jenny Nelson will be held at 11 a.m. on July 8, 2010 at the Zion Lutheran Church of Woodville, WI with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at the Sunset Cemetery in Woodville. Memorials preferred.
