Deborah Bugni (nee Merlin)

Deborah Marie (nee Merlin) Bugni, age 54 of Woodville WI and formerly of Cudahy WI, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 as the result of a traffic accident. Deb was born July 8, 1960 in Cudahy WI to parents Charles and Roberta (nee Samano) Merlin. Deb attended schools in Cudahy, and graduated from Cudahy High School. On December 23, 1977, Deborah was united in marriage to David Bugni. Their union in marriage would be blessed with three children and over 37 years of love and devotion to each other.

Deb had earned an Associates Degree in the past, and was currently a student at WITC, pursuing yet another degree. Deb was a wonderful mother, and an even better grandma. She absolutely adored her grandchildren! Her nature was selfless, and kind-hearted. She was caregiver, and an animal lover. Over the years, Deb was known to take in and foster many stray animals. Deb was a “collector of everything” who enjoyed sewing and crocheting, teaching catechism at the Village Church, motorcycle rides with David, and traveling. She was loyal to her Green Bay Packers, and her love of Diet Coke from the fountain. Road trips and dining out with Deb revolved around knowing exactly where to stop for Diet Coke, and which restaurants served Coke products. Deb will be missed by her family and friends alike.

Deb is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dave; her children, David (Shelly) Bugni, Nick (Kelly) Bugni, and Jessica Bugni; grandchildren, Kieran, Connor, Logan, Dominic, and Parker; her parents, Charles (Roberta) Merlin; siblings, Ron (Jill) Merlin, Rick (Laura) Merlin, Donna Merlin, and Ray (Jenny) Merlin; uncle Dennis Sharpe; her beloved cat, George; and many, many nieces and nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Deb was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Merlin; aunt, Jean Sharpe; and parents-in-law, James and Patricia Bugni.
