Arnold L. ‘Arnie’ Rineck

Arnold Lee “Arnie” Rineck, age 79, of Baldwin, WI, passed away on March 29, 2017 at Birch Haven Assisted Living in Baldwin, where he resided. Arnie was born June 10, 1937 in Spring Valley, WI, the son of Louis and Esther (Wagner) Rineck. Arnie attended school in Spring Valley, and later in Hudson. On September 5, 1964 he would be united in marriage to Elaine M. Madsen. Their union in marriage would be blessed with four children: Pamela, Ronald, Jill, and Nancy. Elaine would precede him in death on July 16, 2013.

Arnie worked several jobs to provide for his family. Many will remember him from his years as a custodian with the St. Croix Central High School. Arnie enjoyed the music of Elvis, and was a devoted Packers fan, who could recall visits to Lambeau Field when Bart Starr was with the team. After retirement, Arnie made friends while delivering meals for the St. Croix County Dept of Aging. He always liked to keep active by walking any chance he could. Arnie enjoyed golf and bowling in earlier years, and even “Wii bowling” in later years. Arnie enjoyed “Bucky” visits, a good story, and sharing his great laugh with others. Above all, he enjoyed what mattered most: time spent with his family and his grandkids, which he was very proud of.

Arnie will remain in the hearts of his children: Pamela (Rob) Holden of Wyoming, MN, Ronald (Cyndi) Rineck of Baldwin, WI, Jill (Jeff) Traynor of Balsam Lake, WI, and Nancy (Jeff) Newton of Baldwin, WI; grandchildren: Robbie, Amanda, and Jeremy Holden, Allyson and Alayna Rineck, Cory, Ty (Sonja Wilson), and Ben Traynor, Owen, Carter, and Sydney Newton; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Traynor; his siblings, Deanna Franklin, Roger (Janette) Rineck, and Larry (Bev) Rineck; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine; his parents; siblings, Jon (Mary) Rineck, Louis “Bud” (Betty) Rineck, Jim Rineck, Marcella (Emil) Wagner, Vernetta Larson, and Della (Gaylord) Worrell.
