Sheena Peterson

Sheena Peterson, age 67 of Hudson, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Sunday, July 15, 2018, after a brave battle with cancer. 

Sheena was born in Montrose, Scotland, on December 14, 1950, to Stanley and Jean Stasilowicz. Sheena and Paul Belise owned the Valley House, in Houlton. Sheena supported many local charities and families and was also a member of the Western Wisconsin Restaurant Association. “Beaner” loved playing softball. Sheena had the kindest heart and saw the best in everyone and her motto was: “Keep smiling.” 

Sheena is survived by the love of her life, Jerry Peterson; sons, Billy Dalluhn and Jonny (Katie) Dalluhn, David (Emily) Peterson and daughter, Lisa (Cory Frasl) Lee; grandchildren, Mitchell (Ashlee) Lee, Cory Lee, Isabella Lee, Austin Peterson, Breann Peterson; great grandchildren, Rylan, Nolan, and Layla Lee; sisters, Elizabeth Stuart, Renja (John) Murray, Anna Wishart; many nieces and nephews; dear friend, Susan Scarborough; as well as many friends from the Valley House and Christian Community Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, parents; and sister, Jean Taylor.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, July 20, 2018, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson. A Memorial Service for Sheena will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 21, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home. Burial to follow at the Houlton Cemetery, WI lunch to follow at Big Guys BBQ in Houlton.
