Roxie Stokes/Chappell/Dahlen age 58 of Spring Valley, WI died unexpectedly July 26th 2018 at the Western Wisconsin Health’s Emergency Room after being rushed there by Ambulance. Roxie was born on September 23, 1959 in Rockford, Illinois. She was raised there where she attended school. She worked as a quality inspector for Danaher Motion in Rockford. It was here, she met the love of her life, David Dahlen. The two would be united in marriage on September 15th, 2007 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Spring Valley. The two have made Spring Valley their home following David being hired as an engineer at McMillan Electric in Woodville, WI.
Roxie loved antiques. In fact, she had her own shop in Rockford collecting her favorite heirlooms. Roxie had a gift to be able to turn something simple into something special with her talent to decorate. She also enjoyed cars, old, new, and especially fast. She thoroughly enjoyed visiting the auto show to see the newest offerings the automotive industry offered. Earlier in life before her health limited her activities, she enjoyed working outside and tending to her flower gardens. But most of all, she loved spending time with her soul mate David. Whether a quiet day at home or spanning the globe sight-seeing the wonders of the world, she loved being with David.
Roxie will be fondly remembered by her husband David; mother Billie Creed; brothers Chad Stokes, Charles (Connie) Creed; and her sister Destiny Stokes. She is preceded in death by father Dewey Dale.
