Barbara A. McClung, age 68 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at her home. Barbara was born on March 27, 1952 in Santa Barbara, California to Steven and Joyce Veronica (Panagabko) Lockwood. She grew up around the Twin Cities and graduated from Howard Lake High School. She continued her education by taking classes at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and St. Olaf College. She was blessed with two children, Tom and Katie. On December 23, 1995, she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” McClung at the Beaver Lake Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. In her younger years, Barbara enjoyed working as a theater manager. She later took positions with optical and chiropractic companies before starting her own business, Pieces of Dreams, which sold silk scarves, jewelry and other item she made to retail businesses. Barbara loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed watching Christian television and following NASCAR.
Barbara will remain in the hearts of her husband of almost 25 years, Bob; her children, Tom (Liz) Kennedy, and Katie (Fritz) Schultz; grandchildren, Liam, Fin, and Clare; Brooke, Jada, and Knox; sister, Wendy McKee; mother-in-law, Judi Desmond; father of her children, Tom Kennedy; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Steven Lockwood and Joyce Veronica Panagabko; and brother Steve “Mike” Lockwood.
