Todd Russell Kranz

Todd Russell Kranz, age 58 of Hudson died peacefully February 21, 2021 at Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale where he was given dignity and compassion over the last days of his life. Todd was born on March 17, 1962 in Mankato, MN; the son of James and Rosemarie (Loe) Kranz. He was raised in Mankato where he attended Mankato West High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the armed forces where he proudly served in the United States Army. Todd was a gracious, kind, and generous to those surrounding him.  To his family, he loved unconditionally. On July 7, 2017, he would be united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Kriesel Kranz in Stillwater. They made Hudson, Wisconsin their home. Sadly, seven months after being married, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Although he was given a terminal disease, he didn’t let that stop him from appreciating the beauty around him. He enjoyed his morning coffee and watching the eagles soar through the skies. Todd was free spirited and enjoyed his travels to Texas and Florida earlier in life. If you knew Todd, you quickly came to realize his passion for jewelry. He had a keen eye for treasures and trinkets others may jettison. He loved traveling to antique shows or flea markets for rare finds. He was well known in the industry as having the Cadillac standard when it came to jewelry taste.

Todd will remain in the hearts of his wife,  best friend, and soulmate Kathleen; children Ann Kranz Fromholz and Alex Kranz; mother Rosemarie Churchill, as well as many other relatives and friends.
