Lawrence “Larry” Graf

Lawrence “Larry” Graf, age 80, of Woodbury, MN, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at his home with family by his side.

He was born on February 23, 1942 to parents William and Alice (Quick) Graf. He graduated from St. Croix Central High School before enlisting in the United States Army Reserve and proudly served for over 25 years. He married Beverly Heins on September 14, 1968 and together raised two daughters. He attended Dunnwoody Technical College and worked as a machinist at Control Data until 1992 when he purchased the business and started Arden Fabrication. In 2007, he sold the company to Triangle Industries where he continued to work until his retirement in 2019. Larry’s hobbies included being on his tractors, traveling, and working outside in his abundance of gardens. He always looked forward to growing pumpkins every year. During harvest season, he generously hosted an annual pumpkin party for friends and family to gather. He also enjoyed being with his family and will be greatly missed by his wife Bev; children Jillian Graf and Jennifer (Amos) Smith; brothers Wally (Merna), Dick (Melita), and Don (Rockie); brother-in-law Dennis Heins and sister-in-law Norma (Dick) Dunnigan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Alice, and his brother Ken (Marcia).

A funeral service for Larry will be held on Monday May 9, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church in Woodbury. Visitation will be from 9-11am with a service at 11am. Burial will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Tunnel to Towers Foundation https://t2t.org/ or any non-profit animal charity.
