Douglas R. Doll, age 62, of Woodville, Wisconsin, formerly of Hammond, passed away Saturday, May 30th, 2020 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota following a brief battle with leukemia. Doug was born May 14th, 1958 to parents Calvin and Rita Doll in Milwaukee, WI. Soon after, the family relocated to the Osceola, WI area, where Doug would graduate from high school in 1976. Doug went on to work for Andersen Windows of Bayport, MN for 15 years before going on to purchase and manage a bar in Hammond. Doug made The Doll House a local staple and hot spot in his 22 years of operation. This was due in big part to his love of socializing with all of his customers. Doug always made time to shoot the breeze with any and everyone who walked in the doors. Even though Doug was a Vikings fan in the heart of Packer country, most folks forgave him for it because he was such a nice guy and a good friend. He was known to be the type of guy to give you the shirt off his back; and was generous with his time and support to anyone who needed it. The loss of Doug and his good-hearted nature and fun-loving spirit will leave a legacy on his family, friends, and community alike.

Doug will remain in the hearts of his sisters, Christine Doll of Arizona and Catherine Doll of Minnesota; & many nieces and nephews; close friends; as well as the many bar patrons met over the years. His parents, Calvin and Rita, and nephews, Ricky and Charlie Juleff, preceded him in death.

A Time of Fellowship of Friends will be held from 1:00-4:00 P.M, Saturday, June 20th, 2020 at Shuggy’s American Grill & Tap House in Hammond, WI. After the gathering at Shuggy’s, all are welcome to continue the celebration at a number of local bars, which will be running specials in Doug’s memory. A full list of participating bars to follow. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in East Farmington, WI.
