Daniel Brooks Theese, age 27 and formerly of Hudson, WI passed away suddenly on November 26, 2016 in Auburn, WA. Daniel was born in Auburn, WA to Kelly A. Theese and Jeffery S. Edwards on July 30, 1989. He attended elementary school in Sumner, WA, and then moved to Hudson, WI where he attended Hudson High School. He was employed with his father doing construction and remodeling.
From a young age, Daniel was an adventurous soul who brought joy and laughter to many. He loved the outdoors, bonfires, beaches, boating and hanging out with his many friends and family. He enjoyed working on cars, playing Frisbee golf and video games. He was persistent, and when he wanted to accomplish something, he threw himself into it.
Daniel had a very big heart and never gave up on people. He was a very loyal friend. He enjoyed children and was especially close to his “nieces” Lilly, Adrianna and Haedyn. We will cherish the wonderful memories of Daniel and he will be deeply missed.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Kelly Theese (Scott) of Prescott, WI; father, Jeff Edwards of Auburn, WA; sister, Kirsten (Jake) Miller of Milton, FL; grandparents, Ronald (Kay) Theese of Cumberland, WI, Leslie (Bruce) Cochran of Cameron, WI, and Kenneth (Barbara) Edwards of Fresno, CA; aunt, Kristin (Rob) Knoll of Hugo, MN, Jeff Theese of Exeland, WI, Norman (Polly) Edwards of Auburn, WA, Gena (Kevin) Gaut of Enumclaw, WA, and Kevin Edwards of Auburn, WA. Also surviving are cousins Nick Knoll, Ashley Barker Cornell, Blake & Connor Theese, Derick Sobiech, Garret Gaut and Adam Gaston. His Washington family also includes Ron & Peggy Miller of Pacific, WA, as well as Mike Miller and son Owen of Cottage Grove, MN.
Daniel is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lynda S. Edwards; uncle, Raymond Edwards; and aunt, Tammy Sobiech.
Visitation will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 11th Street So. in Hudson, WI, with a Memorial Service following at 1:00pm.
