Bryan Shuster

Bryan Shuster, age 83, of Hudson, WI, formerly of St. Louis, MO, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, Watson B. and Mildred Moore Shuster; brother, Tom Shuster; wife, Joan (Felger) Shuster; and son, Jon Shuster. He is survived by his second wife, Carole; sister, Gloria Giese of Florissant, MO; children, Carolyn (Dominique) Shuster Fournier of Paris, France, Philip (JoAnn) Shuster of San Antonio, TX, Stephen Shuster of Wright City, MO; step-children, Elizabeth Twedell of Lake St. Louis, MO, Catherine (Glen) Simon of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren; nieces and nephew; other relatives and friends.

Bryan was employed by McDonnell Aircraft and worked in the space program on Project Mercury and Gemini. Bryan went on to become a dedicated teacher and administrator at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, the University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and retired from the Special School District of St. Louis County, St. Louis, MO in 1995. After retirement he moved to River Falls, WI, and was a substitute teacher in several of the local school districts.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Luther Memorial Church, 420 S. 4th St., River Falls, WI. Funeral services and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Valhalla Funeral Chapel and Cemetery, 7600 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Valhalla Funeral Home.
