Leigh Russell Marquardt, age 87, of Hudson, WI passed away on August 30, 2022. Leigh was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, his dear father, Russell and mother, Erleen.

He is survived by loving daughters and sons-in-law; Kirby (Phil) Hirschey, Whitney (David) Helget, step son Mark Conrad and cherished grandchildren; Lauren (Alex) Fortman, Stefanie (Paul) Franklin, Blake, Reid and Weston Hirschey and adored great grandson; Jay Franklin.

Leigh graduated from Durand High School, proudly served in the United States Army and went on to get his degree from UW-River Falls. He spent the majority of his career at 3M and was then able to enjoy a long retirement on Balsam Lake with Mary. It was here that they constantly hosted family and friends as they both loved to be surrounded by fun and laughter. Leigh will forever be remembered for his generosity, fantastic story telling abilities and booming laugh. He will be dearly missed.

A celebration for Leigh will be held on Saturday, September 10th beginning at 1:00 at Woodland Hill, 441 Stageline Road, Hudson, WI 54106.
