Charlotte Kathleen Huppert

Charlotte Kathleen Huppert, 81, of Hager City, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Kinnic Health in River Falls, Wisconsin, with her family by her side.

She was born February 24, 1941 in Bowdle, South Dakota to Valentine and Sophie (Jacober) Wentz. On May 17, 1958, Charlotte married the love of her life, James Huppert.  Their marriage was blessed with four children, Cynthia, Loni, Randall and Pamela.

Charlotte was primarily a homemaker, raising four kids. Later she sold Avon, waitressed at Hilltop and Braschlers.  She also worked at Jostens in Red Wing, Minnesota and for American Greeting Cards for over 10 years.  Charlotte’s greatest joy in life was her family, and she considered family time as the best time.  She loved crocheting and especially loved baking birthday cakes and wedding cakes for all the children, nieces and nephews and many other people.  In their free time, Charlotte and James enjoyed fishing, camping and dancing.

Charlotte will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Cynthia (James) Anderson, Loni (Jerome) Johnson, Randall (Annette) Huppert and Pamela (Douglas) Bonte; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Dale) Kinneman; brother-in-law, Morris Jung, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James; her parents, Valentine and Sophie Wentz; siblings, Lois (Clyde) Kask, Roger (Connie) Wentz, Ruth Ann Jung, Freddy Wentz; and stillborn grandson, Phillip Huppert.

Mass of Christian Burial for Charlotte Huppert will be 11am, Friday, October 7, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church–Big River, W10137 570th Ave, River Falls, Wisconsin.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Prescott, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be on Thursday, October 6th from 5pm to 8pm at the church, as well as one hour prior to the service at church Friday morning. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
