Age 59, of Hager City, WI, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 following a short battle with cancer, at his home surrounded by his family. Danny was born on July 21, 1954 in Red Wing, MN, the son of Gerald and Alberta (Rosenberg) Holden. He was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and on September 8, 1973 he married Sharleen Hanson at Bethel Covenant Church, Ellsworth, WI. Danny worked for many years for Foley Wood Products in Ellsworth until it was sold. For a few years did odd jobs until taking a position with the village of Bay City as their public works director. Danny was an avid Packer fan and loved to bowl and golf in his free time. He was also the announcer, for many years, for the Ellsworth Hubbers baseball team.Danny is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sharleen of Hager City, WI. Two daughters: Tina (Dick) Rohl, Ellsworth, WI; Tammy (fiancé Randy Patrow) Mears, Beldenville, WI. Two granddaughters: Makayla and Khloe. A sister, Jo Holden, Red Wing, MN. Danny is further survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws and other relatives and friends.
