Hazel E. Erlandson, age 84, of Regina Assisted Living in Hastings, formerly of Prescott, died Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at Regina Hospital, Hastings, MN, surrounded by her loving family.Hazel was born in Maiden Rock Township, WI on January 28, 1930, to Henry “Pete” and Zilphia “Pearl” (Baker) Arnold.She married Lawrence Gilbertson in 1953. He passed away in 1959. In 1960, she married Laurence Erlandson at the Little Brown Church, in Nashua, IA. He also preceded her in death in 2011.Hazel held various jobs throughout her life, but none more important than the roles of wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, which she loved. She was also an avid Packer and Twins fan and enjoyed playing bingo with her assisted living friends.Preceding her in death were her husbands, Lawrence Gilbertson and Laurence Erlandson, her parents, brother William and sister Effie Books.Hazel is survived by her children: Debra Foster, Cindy Gilbertson, Sandy Fuchs, Larry (Stacey) Erlandson;Grandchildren: Alicia McKellips, Ryan Foster, Cara Tweed, Kyla McHenry, Brandon Gilbertson, Janna Erlandson, Kelsey Lewis, Callie Gilbertson; and great-grandchildren: Gregory and Taylor McKellips, Ava and Owen Foster, Jasiah Tweed, and Madeline McHenry, as well as her brother Millard Arnold.Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Prescott, WI is assisting the family with the arrangements.
