Richard L. Peterson, Age 79 of Ellsworth died January 6, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 11, 1935 in La Crosse, WI to Clinton and Nellie Peterson. From 1955 to 1957 he served in the U.S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Nellie Peterson; sister, Barbara Lepley.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Kathy Peterson of St. Paul, MN and Linda (Don) Amey of Oakdale, MN; three grandchildren, Jeff (April) Amey of Rosemount, MN, Bekki (Eric) Robinson of Columbia Heights, MN and Amanda Amey of Minneapolis, MN; his brother, Donald (Rose) Peterson of West Virginia.
Memorial service 2:00pm Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Woodbury Lutheran Church – Oak Hill Campus, 9050 60th Street N, Stillwater, MN.
Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
