Marjorie Wilma Yanisch, 88, of Prescott, WI died Monday, June 15, 2015 at United Hospital, St. Paul, MN.

She was born the daughter of John and Marie (Langer) Denzer in Red Wing, MN on April 25, 1927. Marjorie was a graduate of Ellsworth High School. She married Allen Peter Yanisch on November 29, 1945 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church- Big River,River Falls, WI.
Marjorie had the great memory and the uncanny ability to recall dates and family history.

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI.

Marjorie is survived by her four children: Mary Lee (Richard) Harp, Ellsworth, WI; Joanne (Tom) Huppert, Cottage Grove, MN; Larry Yanisch, Woodbury, MN; William (Sandy) Yanisch, Rockwell, NC.

Three grandchildren: Billy Allen Hines, Scott Huppert, and Justin Yanisch.
Two great-grandchildren: Daniel and Ashley Hines.

Two brothers: Leroy (Arlene) Denzer, Ellsworth, WI; and Jack Denzer, Cottage Grove, MN.

Her husband, parents and sister in-law Marlys preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30am, Monday, June 22, 2015 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30am until time of services at 11:30 at the church on Monday.

Marjorie’s family would like to thank the Prescott Care Center staff and the ICU unit at United Hospital for their care, love and support of Marjorie and her family.
