Robert “Robbie” Russell Dopp

Robert Russell Dopp, 37, of Beldenville, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 as a result of a tragic crop dusting accident in the town of Hancock, Waushara Co, WI. He was doing what he loved to do.Robbie was born in Wild Rose, WI the son of Bruce and Donna (St. Marie) Dopp on December 28, 1977.He grew up in Almond and was a graduate of Almond-Bancroft High School. Robbie later attended and graduated from UW River Falls in 2000. On October 11, 2003 he was united in marriage to Maria Kusilek in Red Wing, MN. They were recently planning to renew their marriage vows. For over ten years Robbie worked for Designer Doors and most recently Agricair where he finally achieved his dream of working as a pilot, flying as a crop duster.
Robbie loved being outside; flying, riding horse, fishing, canoeing, woodworking, raising cattle, and he was active in 4H. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Maria Dopp, Beldenville, WI along with his two beautiful daughters, Amelia and Adeline. His parents: Bruce and Donna (St. Marie) Dopp, Wild Rose, WI. Brothers: Jamie (Brenda) Dopp; and Paul Dopp.
Paternal grandmother: Maretta Dopp. Parents-in-law: Lavern and Delores Kusilek. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul (Helen) Kusilek and Deanna (Brian) Hines.
He is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Russell Dopp, and Robert and Marion St. Marie.

Mass of Christian Burial for Robbie will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2015, at the St.Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI., Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at the St. Francis Catholic Church, and for one hour prior to the Mass.
