Mildred Edna Turner

Mildred Edna (Orcutt) Danielson Turner, age 88, of River Falls, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Hometown Senior Living in Hudson, WI where she has been living since May of 2015. She was born on December 10, 1927 in New Richmond, WI. She was raised by her parents Lawrence and Lillian (Baribeau) Larkins. She was a graduate of River Falls Senior High School. Millie was married to Walter L. Danielson for 18 years with whom she had five children, Michael, Linda, Dwight, Susan and Bruce. On February 4, 1967 she married Daniel T. Turner adding two more daughters, Kimberly and Deonna from Dan’s previous marriage.
The first half of her working career she spent as an accountant after which she and Dan became owners/operators of Clifton Hollow Supper Club until her retirement in 1997. She lived in River Falls all her life. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lillian Larkins; birth father, William Orcutt; five sisters, Marie, Nora, Vi, Irene and Elaine; one brother, Butch.
Millie is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Dan Turner of River Falls; her children, Michael (Suzanne) Danielson of Prescott, WI, Linda (Tim) Huppert of Roberts, WI, Dwight “Deed” (Rita) Danielson of Hammond, WI, Susan Jacoby of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Bruce Danielson of Largo, FL, Kimberly Turner of Isanti, MN, Deonna Turner of Minneapolis, MN; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Millie will be held 5:00pm Thursday, Sept. 29th at First Congregational United Church of Christ, River Falls with a visitation from 3:00-5:00pm also at the church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls.
