Mary Alice (Dunn) Brown, “Ma Brown”, age 78, of Red Wing, MN died on November 14, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, after a 13 month fight with Cancer. She was born on December 19, 1937 in Prescott, WI to Melvin and Mary “Marie” (Kelly) Dunn. She was united in marriage to Bernard “Bud” Brown on April 26, 1958 in Prescott, WI. He died in 2000 after 42 years of marriage.

She worked many years bartending and at Durkee Atwood retiring in 2000. Among her interests were Bingo, Bowling, Pool, Euchre and Cribbage.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bernard Brown; two infant daughters; two sons-in-law, David Johnson, Roger Heineman; three sisters-in-law, Phillis Becker Grill, Boots Haugen, Bonnie Thorson.

Mary is lovingly survived by her children, Randy (Joyce) Brown of Lompoc, CA, Barbie (John) Glaus of Maiden Rock, WI, Tim (Ronda) Brown of River Falls, WI, Dotty (Pat) Cline of Welch, MN, Richard (Lisa) Brown of Hager City, WI; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brother, Pat (Karen) Dunn of Ft. Madison, IA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 starting at 2:00pm at Red Men’s Club, 307 Plum St., Red Wing, MN.
