Glen Orville Brathall, 74, of Ellsworth, WI, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at home. He was born on August 5, 1942 in River Falls, WI, to Charles and Nina (Clark) Brathall. Glen married Diana Welch in Iowa on November 10, 1967.
Glen was a devoted father and husband who took delight in spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed drive-in movies, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards, bowling, working on vehicles, and being outdoors. Glen will be remembered as a hard worker, often working multiple jobs at the same time.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana, his parents, two brothers, Chuck and Bill Brathall and his great grandson Brady Jones.
Glen is survived by his seven children, Wendy (Tony) Thompson; Cheryl (Paul) O’Connell; John (Kris) Jones; Tracey (Mike) Hayes; Jodie (Eric Wilson) Brathall; Brenda (Karl) Wilson; and Cory Brathall; seventeen grandchildren, Jusdon (Kristen), Trenten, Tyler, Hayley, Nicole, Bryan (Holly), Jon (Heather), Jenny, Tanner, Alyson, Eric, Teresa, Erica, Bryce, Jordan, Carter, and Jaycee; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Hanvelt, Lynda (Brad) Harder, and Carla (Mark Broonsten) Hanvelt; one brother, Steve (Loretta) Hanvelt; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Memorial Service for Glen will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Ellsworth, WI. A Visitation will be 1:00 pm until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
A private burial will be at Pine Glen Cemetery in Prescott, WI at a later date.
