Jay Allen Tromberg

Jay Tromberg, 57, of Prescott, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, March 28, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Jay was born May 26, 1959, in Cottage Grove, MN to Ernie and Virginia (Spencer) Tromberg. He graduated from Prescott High School. Jay had a love for life and lived it to the fullest. He never missed an opportunity to have fun. He was an avid deer hunter and spent all year preparing for the next hunt. He was also a huge packer fan. Jay is survived by his father, Ernie Tromberg of River Falls, WI; daughter, Jessica Tromberg and son, Jayson (Michelle) Tromberg both of Prescott, WI, four grandchildren, Brianna, Kaylin, Taylor, and Hayden; siblings, Jim Tromberg of Eau Claire, WI, Jolene (Steve) Trautmann of Hastings, MN, and Janet (Wayne) Gutting of Becker, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Tromberg.
In honor of Jay, the family asks that those attending the visitation wear their hunting or Packer attire. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations go to the family.
