Aaron Joseph Hamilton, age 79 of Prescott WI, died on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. Aaron was born November 18, 1938 in Gideon, MO to parents Clarence Alva and Ruby Jane (Asa) Hamilton. Aaron would be united in marriage to Shirley Ann Bushinger on May 11, 1968 in St. Paul Park MN. Their union in marriage would be blessed with a daughter, Patti.

Aaron worked for many years as a truck driver and laborer for Bailey Nurseries. He enjoyed gardening and fishing, as well as watching and feeding the birds. Aaron enjoyed the simple things, and cherished time spent with family.

Aaron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley; daughter, Patti (Peanut) Arden; granddaughter, Nichole (Blaze) Wagner; grandson, Jesse (Courtney) Sullivan; brother, Larry (Carol) Hamilton; granddog Sadie Sue; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Aaron was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Clara, Betty, and Patricia; and brothers, Clarence and John.

To honor Aaron’s wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home and Trusted Cremation Provider of Prescott. 715-262-5404
