Keith Anthony Voiles of River Falls passed away peacefully and painlessly, surrounded by love on Friday, June 1, 2018 at United Hospital in St. Paul MN. He was 42. Keith was born March 25, 1976 in Camarillo, CA to parents Karl and Monica (Vober) Voiles. Keith would graduate high school from the Brussels American School in Belgium, and further his education at both UW River Falls and CVTC, earning his degree as an LPN. Keith was united in marriage to Laura Helgeson on August 11, 2001. Keith became a father to Jon on that day, and later to another son, Ben.

Keith will be remembered by many throughout the River Falls community from his time at the Lutheran Home, and Little Minds Learning Center. Keith was a gifted caregiver who found great joy in serving others, and great happiness in bringing smiles to kids’ faces. Keith relished the role of being the fun uncle. His sense of humor and pranking abilities are legendary amongst his family, and those blessed to call him a friend. Because he filled their time together with love and laughter, Keith’s passing leaves an ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Keith is survived by his children, Ben and Jon; his father, Karl of Portland, OR; his mother, Monica; his siblings, Krist (Jude), Marni Voiles, and Kyle (Julie); former spouse and loving friend, Laura – all of River Falls; his uncle, John Vober; his nieces and nephews, Alex, T.J., Amber, Nolan, Tyler, Gracie, Teddy, Lucy, Kayla, Jack, Emily, and Sam; his godchildren, T.J., Lucy, Kayla, Emily, and Teddy; as well as numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his best friend, John Leonard.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday evening, June 7th at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 211 E. Division St in River Falls, followed by a Funeral Mass at 7:00pm. Rev Fr. Jerry Harris will officiate. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home of River Falls. 715-425-5644
