Eugene Louis Johnson, age 90, of Prescott, WI died Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Eugene was born on March 29, 1928 in Pierce County, WI to Louis and Anna (Hrdina) Johnson. He married Verna Mae Armbruster in October of 1948 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Big River. He was currently is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Prescott.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anna Johnson.
Eugene is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Verna Mae Johnson; his children, Michael (Cheri) Johnson, Suzanne (Richard) Matzek, Julie (Tom) Stark), Joe (Brenda) Johnson; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol (Ken) Krech.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Monday, June 11th at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 1339 Orrin Road, Prescott, WI with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Prescott, WI.
