Deanna Lynn Becker died on Monday, October 1, 2018 in Ellsworth, surrounded by her family. She was 73. Deanna was born October 28, 1944 in Red Wing MN to parents Clarence H. and Ethel L. (Krause) Stelling. Deanna attended school in Red Wing, and graduated from Red Wing High School with the Class of 1962.

Deanna worked hard for over 31 years at Smead Manufacturing, and later at the Red Wing Hospital. Outside of work, Deanna enjoyed going shopping, reading magazines, and walking. Her family fondly remembers her making rosettes, and her popcorn balls. Deanna was also an animal lover, and had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs. Deanna will be missed by her family, and many friends.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Charles Becker; her sons, Randy Whipple and his wife Lisa, and Curt Becker and his daughter Makayla; her brothers, Rollie Stelling and his wife Charlotte, and Pete Stelling; step-sister, Phyllis (Sheldon) Durtsche; step-brother, Dwayane Jones and his wife Jackie; her in-laws from the Becker family; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mom and mother, Olga “Ollie” Stelling; her son, Scott; her daughter, Cheryl; and sisters, Marcene Thompson and Ruth Oellrich and her husband David.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 4:00-7:00pm on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home in Ellsworth WI. A private family burial will be held. Special thanks to the staff of Atrium Care Center in Ellsworth and to Mayo Hospice. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.
