Charles E. “Chuck” Haglund, age 83 of Little Canada MN, died on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Regions Hospital. Chuck was born November 12, 1935 in Maiden Rock WI to parents Elmer G. and Anna B. (Eggenberger) Haglund. Chuck attended school in Maiden Rock, and graduated from Maiden Rock High School. Following high school, he served his country in the United States Navy. On November 27, 1958, Chuck was united in marriage to Marie Anderson. Their union in marriage was blessed with a son, Chad, and over 60 years of love and devotion.

Chuck owned and operated the A&W on Rice Street for nearly 40 years. Outside of work, Chuck was an avid hunter. His time in the Navy allowed him to travel the world, and in later years, Chuck enjoyed traveling across the United States. Chuck relished in the important role of grandpa, and cherished time spent being involved in the lives of his three grandchildren. Chuck will be missed by many family members and friends alike.

Chuck is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Marie; his son, Chad; and grandkids, Brendan (Kate), Bailey (Katie), and Mercedes; great-grandkids, Wyatt and Kylie; siblings, Marvel Zullo, Sally Thorne, Dean Haglund, Dennis (Carol) Haglund, Brenda (Ronald ) Anderson, and Cheryl (Jim) Loeffler; brother-in-law, Richard Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Bob, Dorothy Brittle, Eugene, and Don.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, and Funeral Services at 2:00pm, on Friday, June 21st at the Sabylund Lutheran Church, 11137 W Cty Rd J in Stockholm WI. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
