Scott Tiedke

Scott James Tiedke, age 37 of Astoria, NY, formerly of River Falls, passed away April 17, 2020 at his home in Astoria, NY. Scott was born August 20, 1982 in Hudson, WI to James and Cynthia (O’Connell) Tiedke. Scott graduated from River Falls High School, with the Class of 2001. He furthered his education at the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in finance in 2006. While attending college, Scott enjoyed the friendships and memories made with the Chi Psi (The Lodge) Fraternity. From 2007 to 2012, Scott worked as an intern with Rochdale Investment Management and then stayed on as a legal and compliance manager. Scott discovered his true calling and expertise was litigation, and further pursued his law degree. With hard work and dedication, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2009 from New York Law School. Scott loved his career as an attorney, and had nearly a decade of expertise in litigation. Scott worked with Bisogno & Meyerson PC, and most recently on his own. His true passion was being in the courtroom, debating and taking a stance on what he felt was right. In March of 2020, Scott was included in the Marquis Who’s Who, for his noteworthy accomplishments and exemplary work in litigation. Scott was also a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Though he lived in the heart of New York City, Scott’s heart always held a special place in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, as an avid hunter, fisherman, and Green Bay Packer fan. He always looked forward to his trips to Door County with his father and friends, and his time spent on the Kinni River. Also dear to his heart was his faithful companion, his dog, Lambeau. Scott was truly a one-of-a-kind guy, who was loved dearly, and will be sorely missed.

Scott is survived by his mother, Cindy (Roger) Revak of River Falls, WI; father, Jim (Susie) Tiedke of Pepin, WI; sister, Sandra Tiedke (Rob Johnson) of Vadnais Heights, MN; grandfather, Charles “Chuck” O’Connell of River Falls, WI; step-siblings, Alissa (Joe) Gullo, Toni (Josh) Sterry, and Travis (Jenae) Brantner; aunts and uncles, Charles “Buddy” (Joy) O’Connell, Rich (Michele) O’Connell, Randy (Judy) O’Connell, and Patti (Keith) Fehl; along with many cousins, step-nieces and step-nephews.
