Bernice Adeline Larson, age 64 of River Falls, WI, passed away on May 13, 2021 in the comforting care of St Mary’s Hospital Campus, located at Mayo Medical Center in Rochester, MN. Bernice was born April 13, 1957 to Emmett and Adeline (Gleason) Peskar in River Falls, WI. She graduated from River Falls High School, with the Class of 1975. On May 10, 1980, Bernice was united in marriage to Mark Larson at First Congregational United Church of Christ in River Falls. Their marriage was blessed with their beautiful daughter Megan, along with 41 years of devoted love.

Bernice was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time outside on their family farm and going on Gator rides to check on their cows with her grandson Wade. Some of the things she liked to do around the farm was to tend to her flower gardens, watch the hummingbirds and eagles, baking lots of delicious treats, cooking plenty of food while she entertained guests, and help run Ber-Mark Excavating with Mark. In addition to her favorite hobbies, she loved God and her church. She spent 43 wonderful years working for Agri-Bank until her retirement in 2018.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mark; daughter, Megan (Lucas) Peck; grandson, Wade; brothers, Irving (Lezlie) Peskar and Ronald (Laura) Peskar; mother-in-law, Lois Larson; sister-in-law, Charlotte (Steve) Risvold; brothers-in-law, Greg (Patty) Larson, Scott (Susie) Larson and Dan (Lisa) Larson. In addition to nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Adeline Peskar; brother, Duane Peskar; sister-in-law, Bonny Peskar; and father-in-law, Norry Larson.

A visitation will take place from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, May 17, 2021 at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 225 South 3rd Street River Falls, WI 54022.  A funeral service and celebration of life will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Family Farm located at: N7471 1073rd St. River Falls, WI 54022. Burial will take place at St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery.
