Diana Lynn Steinke, age 65 of Prescott WI and formerly of Hastings MN, died on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her residence. Diana was born October 2, 1955 in Red Wing MN to parents Maynard Schiller and Hazel Morinelli. Diana graduated from high school in Downington PA. She furthered her education at University of Northwestern in Saint Paul MN, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Ministry.
Diana worked for over 30 years with AMG Resources as their office manager. Outside of work, she spent countless hours crafting and creating all kinds of cards that she would share with others. Diana enjoyed the simple things, such as feeding the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks in her neighborhood. She also loved the variety of a good Chinese buffet. Diana took great delight in her role of being a grandma! She loved to spend time with, and pass on her talents to, her grandkids by cooking and working on art projects with them. Her faith and love for her family were strongly rooted, and passed on as well. She will be missed by loved ones and dear friends alike.
Diana is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Matt) Seeger, and Brenda (Shawn) Dudasko; grandchildren, Nick (Kristin) Rowan, Tyler Rowan, Emily Seeger, Chloe Seeger, Britton Dudasko, and Maxwell Dudasko; great-grandchildren, Carter and Gavin; her siblings, Patricia Morinelli, David Morinelli, Liz Morinelli, and Michelle (John) Mackey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Morinelli; and beloved dogs, Dixie and Duke.
To celebrate the life of Diana Steinke, a Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, July 24th at the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home, 1339 Orrin Road in Prescott WI. Much like Diana, the gathering for her will be simple and sweet, and guests are encouraged to wear something red, as it was her favorite color.
