Dennis Wayne Connolly (Maternowski), age 63, of Hudson, died on July 6, 2010 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was born in St. Paul, MN on July 20, 1946. Dennis was a retired St. Paul MTC bus driver. He enjoyed the simple things in life: fishing, cooking, road trips, watching the MN Twins, a good meal, and visiting with others. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena; sister, Lucille and brother, “Buddy”. Dennis is survived by his five children: Christi, Nicci, Pat and Sean Maternowski, and Jimmy Connolly; four siblings; nieces, nephews, and extended family. Services will be private. Special “thanks” go out to the WalMart employees, the guy who cuts the watermelon at Family Fresh, the coffee girl in McDonald’s drive thru, and everyone at Carbone’s for giving Dennis a smile.
