Jeremiah Hudson Pike, age 24 of North Hudson WI, died on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Gillette Children’s Hospital in Saint Paul MN after a brief illness.  Jeremiah was born on May 12, 1986 in Saint Louis Park MN to parents Bryan and Melia (Stevens) Pike. Jeremiah was the youngest of their six children, and was also known affectionately to family and friends as “Miah”.

Jeremiah attended Hudson High School with the class of 2005 and loved playing hockey, writing poetry, and playing his guitar. He enjoyed music, and being social with his friends. On February 14, 2002, at the age of 15, Jeremiah was involved in a severe auto accident that left him wheelchair-bound with a traumatic brain injury.  After the accident, Jeremiah attended the Bridge View High School in St. Paul MN, where he would graduate with the class of 2007. Jeremiah also enjoyed going to sporting events for his cousins, and was a big fan of going to the movies. Though his life had been forever changed by the accident, his laughter and smile were still a constant, and they came shining through to those around him that he loved.

Jeremiah is survived by his parents, Bryan and Melia Pike of North Hudson; his siblings, Rebecca, Ryan, Ben, Dan, and Rachel; his grandparents, Harry and Helen Stevens, and Ellis and Marilyn Pike; as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jeremiah was preceded in death by his aunt, Lori Pike.

Memorial Services for Jeremiah Pike will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Road, Hudson WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church, and also from 4:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 South 11th Street, Hudson.  Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson WI and the Countryside Crematory. 715-386-3725
