Nancy Ellen Monteith age 66 of Edina died peacefully Thursday November 16, 2011 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Nancy was born on December 9, 1944 in River Falls; the daughter Noel and Dorothy (Thompson) Monteith. She was a graduate of Baldwin Woodville High School. She previously worked as a receptionist for WCCO Radio in the Twin Cities. Nancy was a simple, quiet person who enjoyed the friendship of her neighbors. She also loved and appreciated all animals.

She is survived by her brothers Douglas (Barb) Monteith of Woodville, Thomas (Ruth) Monteith of Prairie Farm, along with her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Services and burial will be private. Cremation services coordinated by Countryside Crematory and O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin.
