Jordan Nicole Costello

Jordan Nicole Costello, age 18, of Hudson, passed away on the evening of Monday, September 17, 2012. Jordan was born on January 17, 1994 to Vince and Melissa (Sides) Costello in Memphis, Tennessee.  She attended school in Memphis as well as Vancouver, WA before moving to Hudson.  She attended high school and graduated from Hudson with the class of 2012.  Upon graduation, she was accepted to UW – River Falls where she began pursuing a degree in nursing.  While attending high school and college, she worked at the Stillwater Wal-Mart.

Jordan had an active lifestyle.  She enjoyed drawing, painting and her biggest passion – soccer.  She had been a soccer player since the age of 5 and played varsity soccer for Hudson High School.  Her main position was left fullback.  She liked to relax with a good book and also enjoyed writing poetry.  Jordan had a broad taste in music as well, listening to everything from country to pop to hip hop.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her four dogs.  Jordan had a way of lighting up a room and had an infectious smile.  Friends and family alike enjoyed her sarcasm and witty sense of humor.

Jordan’s memory will be carried on by her friends and family.  This includes her parents, Vince and Melissa (Sides) Costello of Hudson; brothers, Jason and Joe; grandparents, Freddie and Wanda Sides of Hudson and Pat and Jay Anderson of Yakima, Washington; aunts, Shana Earwood of Hudson, Lisa (Dave) Rossow of Yakima, WA, and Julie Costello of Cle Elum, WA; cousins, Bailey Earwood, Zach Rose, Matt and Michael Rossow, Ashley Anderson and Daniel DeWitt; and her four dogs, Susie, Drake, Maggie and Lilly.

Jordan is preceded in death by her grandpa, Frank Costello.

A memorial celebration of Jordan’s life will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, September 22 at the Faith Community Church in Hudson.  A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the church as well as from 4-7pm on Friday, September 21 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home – Hudson Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, Associated Bank has set up the “Jordan Costello Memorial Fund” – available at all bank branches.  Memorials can also be donated to the the Humane Society in honor of Jordan and her love of animals.  Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home – Hudson Chapel 715.386.3725
