Ione M. Florey LaViolette, age 92, of Hammond, formerly of Minneapolis, died on January 31, 2014 at the American Heritage Care Center in Hammond.  Ione was born on August 14, 1921 to John and Anna (Jansen) Sumbs in Sioux City, IA.  She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Diana) Florey of Baldwin, WI and Richard Florey of Duluth, MN; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Florey and Charles LaViolette.  A memorial celebration of life will be held for Ione at 12pm on Thursday, February 6 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI.  A time of visitation would take place from after the service until 4pm.  Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home.  715.684.3434
