Sheryl Lynn Vezner, age 61 of Amery, WI, formerly of Stillwater, MN, passed away January 18, 2015.   Sheryl was born March 1, 1953 in Baldwin, WI, the daughter of Carroll and Marilyn (Johnson) Stensland. Sheryl graduated from Stillwater Senior High, the Class of 1971.   She was blessed with two sons, Kelly and Donald. She was united in marriage to Michael Carl Vezner for 38 years.  Sheryl worked as an office supervisor for the Stillwater Correctional Facility for 38 years.  

In her quiet time, Sheryl enjoyed reading, playing video games and watching television.  She was well entertained with the X-Files, Bones and Grey’s Anatomy television series.  In her younger years, she had fun playing on a softball league.  

 Sheryl is survived by her sons, Kelly and Donald; grandsons, Dillon and Lexington; siblings:  Duane Stensland, Penny Urman, Kathy Stewart and Kelly Dana.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; father, Carroll Stensland; and sister, Jill Zigan.  

Funeral Services will take place 2:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI, with visitation one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
