Lynn Marie “Fluffy” Murray Age 68 Lake Saint Croix Beach, Minnesota died September 12, 2017 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Lynn was born on March 13, 1949 in Menominie Wisconsin the daughter of Lloyd and Myrtis Whydotski. She was raised in Menominie where she graduated from high school. She would further her education at the University of Wisconsin River Falls.
Lynn owned and operated The Book Trader in Minneapolis. Her curiosity to find unique treasures, has led to her to a vast collection of books and novelties at her store.
One of Lynn’s passions was traveling to Duluth, more specifically Barkers Island on Lake Superior where she loved and appreciated the vast beauty it has. Earlier in life, she enjoyed playing the piano and making the most of her soprano voice as she sang at several weddings and funerals in her hometown. Lynn had a great appreciation for good food, whether cooking up a feast or dining at a new fancy restaurant.
Lynn is survived by her daughters Janice Sterud of Fairbanks, Alaska, Elizabeth (Jason) English of Hudson, grandchildren Marina, Jordan, and Nicholas; sister Jan Spielman of Menomonie, and very close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Andrew, and two former husbands Gary and Jim.
A celebration of life for Lynn will be held at the O’Connell Family Funeral home, 520 S. 11th St. in Hudson.
