Albert “Al” Heidenreich, age 60 of Hudson, died unexpectedly on March 14, 2019.

Al was born on November 23, 1958 in St. Paul, Minnesota; the son of Floyd and Cecilia (Buelow) Heidenreich. He attended Harding High School and graduated with the Class of 1977. Al was blessed with two daughters, Mandie and Gina. Al married Julie Hobbs in September 26, 1998. He worked for Slumberland Furniture as a salesman for many years.

Al loved time outdoors fishing and snowmobiling. Monday Night Football was one of Al’s favorite nights. He loved to invite his family and friends over to watch football, baseball or hockey and eat delicious food.

Al is survived by his wife Julie, daughters Mandie and her husband Omar Bonilla-Ortiz, and Gina and her husband Hunter Ohlsen. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles “Chuck” Heidenreich and his wife Shelly, Mark Heidenreich and his wife Sandy Emms, and Anthony “Tony” Heidenreich and his wife Jean, his Monday Night Football crew, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Cecilia; brothers, John and Ed; and his nephew, Nick.

Visitation will take place from 4:00-6:00PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. Services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson.

As an expression of sympathy, remembrances may be made in any form desired by friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
