Jacqueline Anderson

Jacqueline Marie Anderson, age 76, of Hudson, Wisconsin passed away peacefully with her husband and family by her side on January 9, 2022. Jackie was born on November 25, 1945, to William and Catherine (Rooney) Cregan in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating from St. Anthony High School, Jackie went on to further her education at Marquette University as well as the University of Minnesota. In 1983, Jackie married the love of her life David in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

During the summer, Jackie loved to be outside camping with Dave. The two often camped at Pine Point on the Lake Holcombe Flowage. Jackie was an animal lover, and was especially fond of her two dogs Bandit and Bailey. She was also known as the queen of finance. She helped establish United Health Care, which brought Jackie and Dave to Hudson, where she helped open another United Health Care office. When her stepson Rick opened his business, he sought out Jackie for her knowledge on business finance, and the two had a phenomenal working relationship. When looking back at Jackie’s life, one of the highlights that she had was taking an Alaskan Cruise with her husband Dave. Perhaps Jackie’s greatest achievement in life was being a single mother as a young woman. She embraced that role and was a phenomenal mother to her son Brad.

Jackie will forever remain in the hearts of her beloved husband, David Anderson; son, Brad (Sandra) Cregan; sister-in-law, Carol Arvidson and family; stepchildren, Scott (Mary) Anderson and family, Joy Anderson, Holly Anderson, Heidi Anderson, Rick (Nancy) Anderson; step grandchildren, Elizabeth (Andy) Larsen, Nicholas Anderson; step great-grandchildren, Henry and Madeline Larsen; sisters, Donna Hill and Patricia Potesta; brother, William (Sharon) Cregan; niece, Cathi Strout and family, niece, Maria Fisher and family; numerous other nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
