Nancy Eugenia Peterson, age 71, passed away peacefully in her home on April 22, 2022. Nancy was born to Vernon and Esther Peterson on August 27, 1950 in Baldwin, WI. Nancy graduated from St. Croix Central High School, and would later have two children Bryce and April.

Nancy will be remembered for her beautiful and generous heart. She would often befriend the less fortunate and take them under her wing. If someone needed help, she would always give what she could. She had a gift for cooking and baking, but would have everyone eat before her. There was nothing Nancy loved more than her family. Being a grandmother was Nancy’s passion. As a family, they would often be going on road trips. There was always a stop at the Cady Cheese Factory, as well as a Dairy Queen. Nancy taught everyone she met to not be afraid to live, and to always keep learning.

Nancy will forever remain in the hearts of her children Bryce (Rani Archambault) Docter, April (Mike Luhman) Wilson; grandchildren Alexis Docter, Hailey Archambault, Ian Auckland, Aiden Auckland; sister Sandra Gaustad; and brother Bill (Colleen) Peterson. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Esther Peterson; Brothers Joe and Jim Peterson; sister Peggy Lashley; and nephew Scott Quist.

A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be on Wednesday, April 27th 2022, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI. The service will start at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
