Amanda Marie Schwartz, age 39 of Lakeland passed away unexpectedly March 26, 2020 at her home. Amanda was born on March 31, 1980 in St. Paul, Minnesota; the daughter of Michael Cooper and Glenda (Whitfield) Cooper. She attended Afton-Lakeland School prior to graduating from Stillwater High School. For the past few years, she has worked as a paraprofessional for the South Washington County School District 833. She thoroughly loved this job and being around children.

Amanda cherished being a mom. It gave her the greatest pleasure bopping around with them, going to the beach on the St. Croix River, or sitting by a bon fire telling stories with them. It was her greatest reward!

Amanda will forever live on in the hearts of her Mother Glenda (step dad Roger) Nordquist; Father Mike Cooper (wife Janet Schouveller) Cooper; stepmother Jean Burke; Amanda’s children Dylan, Cooper, and Macy; Brother Rick (Wife Krystal) Cooper;  nieces Cadence  & Kinsley; Brother Sam Cooper; Sister Amy (husband Kevin) Roshell ; nephews Andrew Hawkinson, Jeremiah, Isaiah & Carter Roshell; Fiancé – Mike Huber and his daughters Kaydence and Kennedy; Former husband Mark Schwartz; Grandmothers Marge Lovejoy, Becky Quick, as well as her aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Her family was able to have their private goodbye’s at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Memorials are preferred and will be used towards her children’s future education.
