Elsie D. (Sullwold) McKenna, age 93 of Roberts, WI, died March 30, 2014.

Elsie was born on July 1, 1920 to Arthur and Marie (Sander) Sullwold in Stillwater, MN. She was the youngest of the 7 children in her family. On October 14, 1944, Elsie married Leo McKenna. They raised two sons on their farm in Roberts, WI. After her husband died on January 28, 1992, Elsie devoted a lot of her time to crocheting. She donated a lot of works to the Roberts Congregational Church. Elsie also enjoyed puzzles and baking anything sweet.

Elsie is survived by her sons, John McKenna of Stillwater, MN and David (Diane) McKenna of Roberts, WI; 7 grandchildren, Lisa (Jeramie) Naser of New Richmond, WI, Angela (Kevin) Whitley of Stillwater, MN, Amy (Dave) Canaday of Stillwater, MN, Michael (Ramzie) McKenna of Marshal, MN, Lindsay McKenna of New Richmond, WI, Kristin (Bradley) Afdahl of Arkansaw, WI, Erin (Abbie) McKenna of Roberts, WI; 12 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Doris Sullwold and Marion Anderson; many nieces; nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Leo McKenna; parents; brother, Alfred Sullwold; sisters, Irene (Eugene) Zahler, Edith Sullwold, Ella Sullwold, Lena (Vince) Anderson, Nora Kempf.

Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ in Roberts, WI. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at the Warren Cemetery in Roberts, WI.
