Bryan Aumann

Bryan Walter Aumann, age 16, of Hudson died unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, April 26, 2011. He had been courageously fighting leukemia for the past two and a half years. He was born the son of Larry and Lena (Haase) Aumann on April 10, 1995 at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN.

Bryan was currently a sophomore at Hudson High School. He loved to go fishing and hunting in Stevens Point with his dad, and he enjoyed riding dirt bikes. He was passionate about snowmobiling (once logging 800 miles in one weekend!), and he was very proud of the sled he had received from Wishes and More. Bryan was incredibly compassionate. He was shy, and he was funny. He will be missed deeply by all who loved him.

Bryan will remain in the hearts of his parents, Larry and Lena; his sister, Casey; grandparents, Walter & Ellen Aumann of Sussex, WI and Allen & Barbara Haase of Waukesha, WI; aunts and uncles: Charles Aumann, Mary Hammond, Robert (SueAnn) Aumann, Thomas (Jodi) Aumann, Jennifer (Mark) Schahczinski, Jodi Loften, Lori Dumas, Robert Hammond, and Timothy Loften; many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his cousin Miranda Aumann.

Visitation on Saturday, April 30th from 11:00 – 1:00, Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St. in Hudson. Interment will follow at the Willow River Cemetery in Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bryan’s name to “Wishes and More” are preferred. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home and Countryside Crematory, 715-386-3725.
