Bonnie Anderson

Bonnie J. Anderson, born on February 4th 1928 in Birnamwood, WI passed away on October 23rd in Hudson, WI. Bonnie was the daughter of Beulah and Cecil Shelton of Spirit Lake Iowa. She graduated high school in Spirit Lake Iowa where she spent most of her childhood. She received her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Milwaukee, WI. Bonnie worked for big brothers in West Bend, WI and was a social worker for many years. Bonnie also worked for a youth hostel in Mexico City, Mexico. Bonnie loved drawing, painting, and expressing herself through art. She was an amazing artist. Traveling was one of Bonnie’s passions; she lived a very colorful life taking trips to Mexico, South America, and Europe. Bonnie made the best of her illnesses during her stay at Christian Community Home being involved in resident council, choir, and bells group. Bonnie was politically active throughout her whole life. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Jack Anderson, Cecil and Beulah (her Parents), Robin Barringer (her Son), and Andrea Barringer (her Granddaughter). Bonnie is survived by her children; Lauren Tappan, Wendy Barringer (Bucklew), Barth Anderson, Keith Barringer, Karen Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Mark Anderson, and Jim Anderson; plus 9 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild – All whom she loved very much. A celebration of life was held Saturday November 1st 2014 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI.
