Daniel Roesler

Daniel “Moose” Roesler, age 48 of Elmwood, WI, passed away on October 23, 2022 at the University of Minnesota Fairview, after his battle with cancer. Daniel was born on May 23, 1974 to parents Michael “Moose” and Deborah (Grutzik) Roesler. After graduating from Stillwater High School, Daniel began his career in masonry with the majority of his time with Plummer Concrete. He married the love of his life Adelia “Dee” Burns on September 6, 1997.

Moose was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and collecting interesting rocks and agates. He was the kind of guy that didn’t mind getting dirty and was the first to grab a shovel if there was any hole that needed to be dug. He had a creative mind and a talent for working on machines. His silly nature made him always fun to be around. His family was most important to him and he was their hero and protector.

He will be missed greatly by his wife Adelia “Dee”; children Isaac (Lindsey) Roesler, Michael (Holly) Roesler, and Emily Roesler; grandchildren Jackson and Rylan; mother-in-law Alberta “Dolly” Burns; mother Deborah Roesler; siblings Rebecca Koderick, Anthony (Kari) Roesler, Tammy (Al) Doty, Joshua Roesler, Rachel (Chad) McChane, Joseph (Karen) Roesler, and Angela (Steve) Hudson as well as many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Michael “Moose”, father-in-law Bruce Burns, his little buddy Rocky; grandparents Carol and Joseph Grutzik and Alois and Bernice Roesler.

A visitation for Moose will be held at the Rock Elm United Methodist Church, 5591 170th St., Elmwood, WI, from 10am-1pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022. There will be a celebration of life afterward at the Elmwood Rod & Gun Club, N6433 WI-72, Elmwood, WI, from 3pm-8pm. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
