Sandy Brown

Forever Loved

Sandy Brown, a long-time resident of Hudson, WI, died peacefully at the age of 78, on October 28, 2022, with her loved ones by her side.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Arvilla Kuhn of Durand, WI. She is survived by her husband Jerry, their children Jeanine (John), Lynn (Marc) and Jason, and grandchildren Coleman and Jordan.

Sandy was born in Nelson, WI, on August 1, 1944, and grew up as an only child on a farm with cousins, aunts, and uncles near. She met her husband Jerry in Durand, WI, and they were married in 1967. They raised their children in Hudson, where Sandy kept busy with three young children under the age of 4! Some of the kids’ favorite memories are the annual summer road trips the family took with Sandy’s parents in a 77 Buick.

Sandy had numerous close friends and especially enjoyed her neighbors in Golfview. She owned The Country Gallery in downtown Hudson and went on to work as the receptionist at First National Bank, where she made close friends that she held dear throughout her life. Sandy loved spending time on their houseboat on the St. Croix River, traveling to Jamaica, sending gift packages to her son in Alaska, and cheering for the Packers.

Sandy enjoyed retirement, spending as much time as possible with Coleman and Jordy, attending hockey games, school concerts and showering her grandkids with love. Some of the grandchildren’s favorite memories of their nana include sleepover pillow fights, summer days at the T&C pool, golfing in Fort Myers, and holidays hosted by nana with no attention to detail spared.

In Sandy’s memory, the family asks that donations be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association to help find a cure for this cruel disease.

Sandy’s life will be celebrated with a private ceremony.
