Phillip Oliver Thorn, age 22, passed away on August 31st, 2023. Phillip was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 2nd, 2000.
Phillip attended River Falls Schools and received his Certificate of Graduation from Baldwin Woodville School in 2022. He was a positive addition to every student’s day, making many of his classmate’s smile. Classmates weren’t the only ones to crack a smile while Phillip was around. He was often telling “dad jokes” that the whole room couldn’t help but chuckle at. When he wasn’t cracking a joke or a sly pun, he was doing his brotherly job of picking on his little sister! She may not have found his jokes as funny, but nonetheless Phillip loved his little sister, Audrey.
In his younger years Phillip loved the beach, specifically Clearwater Beach in Florida. He enjoyed the waves, the water, and the sand. There are countless wonderful memories from trips to Clearwater. Phillip enjoyed all things video games, especially Minecraft. He could play for hours. He also was a big fan of the popular series Star Wars. Watching the trilogy was one of his favorite pass times.
Phillip is survived by his mother Tracie Buelow; sister Audrey Hildebrandt; aunts and uncles Jessica (Matt Romberg) Thorn, Travis (Amber) Thorn, Levi Fleming, and Megan Thorn; grandmother Julie Fleming; great-grandmother Viva Fleming; cousins Brayden Richison and Marin Morgan along with many other extended relatives.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Kraig Thorn, great-grandparents Bud Fleming, Suzanna (Peter) Saghin, Kermit (Virginia) Thorn.
Private Services for Phillip will be held at a later date.
