Theresa Marie Lorenz, age 42 of Woodbury, Minnesota, passed away on September 29, 2023.

Theresa was born on December 20, 1980 to Dennis and Barb Sharp. She worked as a special ed teacher at Kenwood Trail Middle School in Lakeville, MN. Her passion was teaching. She made connections with the most difficult children and was well loved by her coworkers.

Theresa was an incredible fighter who always beat the odds. She approached every obstacle with pure tenacity and perseverance, and always with a little sass. She will be remembered as a selfless person who loved deeply—especially Trent & her girls. She always wanted to be with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with friends, preferably with a nice, full glass of Riesling.

She is the beloved wife of Trent; loving mother of Elliot & Rylan; sister of Bradley (Teri), Christopher (Jessica), aunt of Collin, Darby, Kayleann & Kaycie; daughter of Barb & Dennis.

Theresa was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her aunt Judy Viner.

Visitation 11 AM -1 PM with 1 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s, Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St, Hudson. Private interment at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Somerset. In lieu of flowers please consider donating blood or donating to breast cancer research
