Jennifer Johnson Wrege, age 70, of Woodville, Wisconsin, passed away on November 1, 2023 at Park View Home in Woodville, Wisconsin.

Jennifer was born on July 7, 1953, to parent’s Donald and Patricia Johnson in Belleville, Illinois.

As a child, Jennifer lived with her family in Rockford, Illinois before moving to Amery, Wisconsin in 1967.  After high school graduation, she attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and worked as a social worker for 8 years before finishing a Master of Divinity at Luther Northwestern Seminary.  She was then ordained in 1985 working as a parish Pastor and Assistant to the Bishop until her retirement in 2012.

Jennifer married Marvin Wrege on January 1, 2001 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Appleton, Wisconsin.  Together they enjoyed camping, walks, bike riding, and canoeing with friends on the St. Croix River.  She was an avid quilter, loved to travel and enjoyed garden therapy.

Jennifer’s life was blessed by an abundance of family and friends who gave her much love and joy.  She was very thankful for their presence in her life.

A Memorial Service for Jennifer will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 221 Lockwood St. Woodville, WI 54028 on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at 11:00am.  The service will be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page HERE. Visitation will take place one hour prior.  Rostered Ministers are invited to vest, color is white.
